There are two options regarding branding:

  1. Use Teddy Bear Factory
  2. Or our domaine name: TBStuffers

Some of the pages now on the site refer to "our factory" and use Teddy Bear Factory characters. "Ronnie" is probably not well known to our customers. Do we want to publicize him or our own characters? Our "factory" or "Teddy Bear Factory". Since we don't have any control over the factory, perhaps TBF and TBS should be identified as separate entities.

I am thinking of T. B. Stuffers as a character. Perhaps a bear, perhaps not. We would create a story around T.B. Stuffers (ala Santa Claus?), someone who makes "friends" for children...

If we went with TB Stuffers character:

  • Would we use the Teddy Bear Factory logo?
  • A TB Stuffers logo
  • Or both...
    Teddy Bear Factory... from T.B. Stuffers

Merchandising

Maybe we should think in terms of a bear "family" or a group of collectable characters, emphasizing their names. Each friend could have a well defined personality, which could be included with the character when sold. This need not be for every animal, but for each in a story group.

Some characters could even be "grouches"... as in Oscar the...



T. B. Stuffers, with fluff in his hair
scissors,
needle and thread pinned through his vest
peering over his glasses
telling a story to a small child on his lap.

T B must have fingers and a face capable of expression.
